We had a blast at the Troll Museum. On the day we visited there were no kids but every adult seemed to have so much fun that it felt like we were kids again. The augmented reality technology really draws you in to the experience. The hands on exhibits are engaging and varied. The interactive nature of the whole museum is wonderful. Plus, there is so much history and information presented that it would take a few visits to grasp it all. If you want a fun time that is also educational - this is the place for you.

Really enjoyed our visit, there's so much information to take it, almost too much, but you can read or listen to as much as you desire. You can use your phone to get an audio guide (see pick) There's a lot of interactive/ digital activities to immerse yourself in, it really is fun. Take your time to explore it all, it's worth it.

We spent a good coue of hours exploring the troll museum and found it fascinating. It was great to learn about 1000 years of Norse folklore, the trolls and all the other magical creatures that inhabit Norway. The museum has pictures, texts, videos, and interactive exhibits that inform and entertain. Just be aware of the Olle Bolle song, it gets into your head. An excellent place to visit in Bergen.
